When we decided to renovate rather than build, our builder immediately recommended WatersEdge Design Company. Brandon Jones is amazing. He and a colleague met with us at our home to discuss our goals. He quickly learned that we weren’t sure what we wanted! He could easily have said, “Well, give me a call when you figure it out.” Instead, he spent an hour brainstorming with us. With some preliminary decisions made, Brandon submitted his design within a couple of weeks. We loved the design but the builder’s cost estimate sent us back to the drawing board (Brandon’s drawing board, that is!). Brandon researched similar designs (even gave us pictures for inspiration) and provided a new set of plans. The quality of his work and reasonableness of his fee were sufficient to make us satisfied customers. But when you add in his level of professionalism, attention to detail, and desire to exceed expectations, you have a story worth telling. And that is why I am submitting this review.

A few months back, my husband and I decided it was time to start planning for our future forever home. The first step is finding house plans of course. I searched and searched the internet, but I could not find anything I LOVED. Watersedge came highly recommended by a family member, and boy they did not disappoint !

If you know me, then you know how picky, stubborn and high maintenance I am, poor Cameron 😂.

We sat down with Brandon and another young lady for the initial meeting explaining every thing we wanted, let’s be real, everything I wanted. Cameron could care less, he’s getting his Barndominium lol. He was very straightforward with us and the things I saw on “TikTok” that probably wouldn’t be a great idea or wouldn’t be realistic with what we want.
It was only a couple weeks later that he sent us the Preliminary plan, and he did amazing with it ! There were only a few changes that needed to be done, but I felt heard. He really listened to what we wanted. We emailed a few times trying to come up with a solution for the master side, but decided an in-person sit down would be easiest to complete the plans.

We sat there for two hours drawing things up and starting over just to ensure that I was happy. They didn’t shoot down any ideas, they weren’t negative and they sure weren’t rushing the process. They listened to what I wanted, and DELIVERED ! When I left, I was on cloud nine ! When we started this process, I thought for sure it would take longer and be more stressful, but it wasn’t, it was so easy.

The first step is DONE ! And the best part, these plans are completely CUSTOM ! No one will have the same house plans as us, these are completely our own and I’m just so excited to see the finished product in our FOREVER BARNDOMINIUM 😍
