Honestly, if you have a small case, try to settle it yourself. They will take your case, but it won't get you the best results. They will do what they can but not necessarily fight for you and what you deserve. If you had a very bad accident then they may be great for the job.

From July ’18 to January ’19 I have been involved in 3 car accidents (last two totaled my car) that were no fault of my own. When contacted from the at-fault insurance company related to the last accident, I was given an offer to settle with an amount that was not appropriate at all. I decided to get legal representation. I initially contacted The Stefanie Drake Buford Law Group on their website with a short description of the incident and what the at-fault insurance company had offered to settle. Stefanie responded back within an hour herself and invited me to a free consultation. I had never been involved in any type of litigation until this accident. I was nervous and naive about the process. My intention going into this was never to be vindictive towards the other driver that caused the accident nor towards her insurance company. All I had asked was that I was compensated fairly and all medical was covered. I met with Melinda Dunn from the firm to discuss my case. Melinda made sure I understood the entire process and answered all my questions. If I emailed, text or called the office, Melinda responded promptly. They never once made me feel less than important, always answered any questions I had with promptness and in a way I could understand (I’m a Nurse, not an Attorney). I never felt “rushed” when we met in person, Melinda would take all the time I felt was needed to understand where the case currently was at that time. Every step of the process was explained in detail and what was to be expected next. After less than 3 months we reached a settlement though the at-fault insurance company(MAX payment) which I thought was fair and Stefanie and her team are going through mediation with my uninsured motorist policy for additional compensation. I truly believe that if I didn’t have Stefanie and Melinda in my corner this would not have even come close to a smooth experience. I would also like to add that Melinda was so awesome and would take time out of her busy day just to listen to me and was very supportive when I would get emotional due to the recent unfortunate incidences that I had been involved in. I hope to never have to go through anything like this again, but if I do, Stefanie Drake Buford Law Group will be the first to be contacted. I have expressed to family and friends how wonderful Stefanie and Melinda were and is the law firm they should call if the need arises.
