From the first day I walked into this firm seeking help as an investor until this very day, Attorney Gurvey and his team has over delivered! Let me start with the positives. The public facing staff are very pleasant and responsive. You will feel that they have or will escalate your concerns. However nothing will get resolved because their internal processes is seriously and fundamentally lacking.

YOU ARE AS STRONG AS YOUR WEAKEST LINK: The public facing staff can give good customer service; but if the people who move your deal to closing are unable to be promptly respond to inquiries or requests your deal will break down or fall apart.

I have had used Gurvey Law 2 times to close on deals. The first one did not go smoothly but we closed when we were supposed to. The last and final deal that I used Gurvey Law for was a DSCR Loan. Granted not the easiest loan because it is a portfolio loan.

This kind of deal requires clear and prompt communication with the lender. The lender was often frustrated with Gurvey because of corrections needed to be made. More than once the loan officer reached out to me to urge Gurvey law to respond on a time sensitive matter.

The trust and faith you have in a company is measured by the number of times you have to call on the same issue. During this deal I have called multiple times 4-8 times a day from 9am to 5pm

Tools to use If you find yourself stuck in a deal that Gurvey Law is closing and you would loose more time switching to another title company

1. Lower your expectations: Do not expect to resolve and issue same day
2. Stay on top of your deal: You cannot trust this firm to be n top of issues that might arise. Check in every day
3. Pray: pray that your deal closes close to the date and you are promptly funded

In closing(no pun). In the words of the loan officer who I worked with on this deal
“They are terrible. Definitely don’t work with them again lol.”

In recounting my recent engagement with The Gurvey Law Group, I am regrettably compelled to express profound dissatisfaction. Throughout our interaction, a litany of shortcomings emerged, leaving an indelible mark of disappointment and frustration.

First and foremost, the hallmark of any reputable institution lies in its ability to foster transparent and effective communication. Regrettably, this fundamental tenet appeared sorely lacking in my dealings with The Gurvey Law Group. Despite repeated attempts to engage in meaningful dialogue, communication proved to be a perennial challenge. Instances of misleading information and a glaring absence of follow-up from inception to conclusion only exacerbated this deficiency, ultimately sowing seeds of doubt and disillusionment.

Moreover, the integrity of contractual agreements, a cornerstone of professional conduct, was callously disregarded. The failure to enforce contractual obligations not only bespeaks of professional negligence but also raises serious ethical concerns. Such disregard for established norms not only undermines trust but also inflicts tangible damages upon all parties involved.

Of particular concern was the disconcerting sequence of events leading up to the proposed closing. Despite assurances to the contrary, the proceedings were marred by last-minute complications, culminating in an eleventh-hour request for an extension shrouded in ambiguity. This abrupt deviation from established protocols not only disrupted the transactional flow but also underscored a disconcerting pattern of evasion and inconsistency.

In conclusion, my experience with The Gurvey Law Group can be succinctly encapsulated as a cautionary tale for prospective investors and clientele alike. The wanton disregard for communication protocols, coupled with a propensity for ethical lapses, renders it an untenable choice for those seeking reliability and integrity in their business dealings.

In light of these pervasive shortcomings, I cannot in good conscience recommend The Gurvey Law Group to any discerning individual or entity. Rather, I implore prospective clients to exercise due diligence and tread cautiously when considering engagement with this entity. It is my fervent hope that this review serves as a clarion call for introspection and reform within The Gurvey Law Group, ultimately fostering an environment conducive to trust, transparency, and professional excellence.
