This travel agency was recommended by a friend. They referred us to Mechelle Brooks as she specializes in trips to the UK. We told her exactly what we were looking for, wanted and expected. We wanted a trip to Scotland. She herself was wanting to go there and happen to be trying to put together a tour with a group including herself. So we signed up, let’s just say it was an amazing trip, one I will remember for the rest of my life. From flights to hotels, to destinations, and tour company’s our trip was wonderful. Just got back from taking a "I need a warm vacation trip now" trip to Hawaii. I put this trip together at the last minute with the help of our travel agent Trish. She was great. Trish took care of every small detail and stayed on top of things until my wife and I took off from Atlanta.
She even called the Hotel in Hawaii to ensure the furniture on the balcony was as advertised. Now who does that? An agent who's looking out for their clients. That's Trish and all the other travel agents at Take Time to Travel.

Three months before our trip, I gave a destination, a single event that we absolutely wanted to do, and then dates and budget were flexible. We asked if we were open to a tour- I said open to it, but not required. The person I spoke with was going on vacation the next week, so I expected not to hear from her for a couple of weeks. A month before our trip, I called to follow up since I hadn’t been contacted again. The person I initially spoke with said she had emailed me weeks prior to let me know they would be unable to help because a tour would not fit our schedule (that I said was flexible?), but this email never showed up in my inbox or junk mail (which it wouldn’t have gone there anyways since she had emailed me before), so I was left barely a month before our trip with no plans or reservations whatsoever. I ended up booking everything myself for $300 under the initial budget I gave. It seemed like this person wanted to book a single tour and then that be all the work they put into our trip instead of doing actual travel agent work.
