They did a great job on the messaging. Then when I was finished using the service, they continued billing me hundreds of dollars a quarter on a completely inactive account that I had directly (in writing, over email) closed. Did not respond to my emails attempting to resolve the situation, I was forced to initiate a chargeback through my credit card company, which they disputed. Absolutely absurd that they ignored all my communications attempting to resolve the situation, then disputed the chargeback.

This service is a total rip off. I used it for a short period successfully, then started sending campaigns that apparently never went out. By the time I figured out that they were not sending my text campaigns, It took 5 days to "fix" the issue, and the very next campaign that I sent failed to send AGAIN for the same reason. They kept charging me even though I couldn't use the service. They said that my number wasn't "registered" correctly even though several campaigns went out initially. When I tried to cancel, they insisted on charging me for the whole month even though the service was useless to me. It honestly feels like they have stolen money from me. There is also not an option to actually talk to a representative when things go wrong, which is often. Email support only which is frustrating and inefficient. Totally unreliable technology with awful customer service who takes your money even when their product doesn't work. I wouldn't waste your time or money.

Wanted to set up SMS texting. The guy Joe started billing me, even before figuring out our industry can't participate in this type of service. Here we are, two months later, still being charged for a service we can't receive. I have called and emailed him multiple times. He doesn't respond. I finally get him on the phone, he swears its been handled, says he will follow up. But we just got billed again. This has been going on since the end of August. Terrible experience. They only answer the bell when they can get money from you. Now that he knows this can't happen (no fault of ours) he's ghosting me. I'm with Action Benefits.

I was looking forward to using this service, however I immediately encountered issues when I was unable to verify my phone number, because I never received the requisite text message. Luckily, the support person on chat was able to manually approve the account, giving me access to the dashboard (earned them a star). Unfortunately, that's as far as my experience could progress. I tried several times to send myself a message. I had a coworker subscribe to my text list, thinking my phone was the problem. Nope. I reached out to the contact person who was assigned to my trial account. They were completely unhelpful-- twice they told me they would look into the issue, and neither time was there any follow up. What was particularly audacious was that after several days, said contact person would email me reminding me to sign up for a full account and offer me coupon codes. They kept insisting that we ought to speak over phone or video call. I tried to call back the number they left over voicemail and was met with an automated response. It's hard to want to pay for a service that is unable to demonstrate the functionality of the thing I want to pay for, and it seems like they just want an easy sale. My recommendation: if the first time you are meant to receive a text message does not work, move on.

Have used slicktext since 2018. Talked to them about switching as they are a more expensive company. They agreed to give me 30,000 texts for $350 to match the competitors i was going to switch to. After 4
Months of paying $350 they decided to up it to $420 without telling me, refuse to give me a refund and told me it’s additional “fees”. We are in the process of switching and i will be disputing the charge i didn’t agree to. Worst part is i sent a LOT of people to them over the years so i will be reaching out to them as well. As a small business with 8 employees i refuse to pay $420 for texting services i hardly use.

This company is seriously amazing. I've used different messaging platforms for my business in the past and none of them come close. Jessica has amazing customer service skills and was able to resolve an issue for me within minutes just by using their online chat feature. Matt, who helped me set up my account, is also amazing. He helped me with the step by step process and throughly explained all the features and benefits. Not only is the software very effective but these guys really do care about their customers. I highly recommend them!
