When you first find out you’re expecting a little one a million things cross your mind, I was no exception. As a first time mom my pregnancy was filled with to-do lists and preparation. By the time I was 37 weeks I panicked thinking I was too late to schedule newborn photos as I had read they book up quickly. I frantically emailed Shelley hoping she had room. Thankfully she did. On the day of our appointment my son was 3 weeks old and I was an exhausted new mom who was skeptical of letting someone else hold my baby. I’m so thankful for how gentle and kind Shelley was towards my son and I. She made me feel so at ease with how she interacted with and handled my baby. Throughout the entire time as I watched her carefully pose him I had full confidence that she was doing so with his safety in mind. Our session was perfect! She took the time to soothe him and didn’t rush me when he needed to nurse. On reveal day she helped my husband and I select photos that we will forever cherish and made sure that the experience was perfect! Picking up our artwork was such a special moment. I’m forever grateful for these photos and for Shelley! Don’t let your little one grow up without capturing their sweet first weeks, you won’t regret it!

Shelley really is a baby whisperer! What patience and talent it must take to be capable of this. We decided rather last minute that we needed newborn portraits of our first born, and Shelley was able to squeeze us into her busy schedule to make sure we got them and we will cherish these photos and this time forever. Worth every penny and would absolutely recommend her again and again.

Shelley was amazing! We got our daughters new born pictures done when she was 2 months old, so she was outside the normal timeline of newborn pictures but Shelley was still able to get all those cute newborn poses for us. She was so patient with our other kids too for our family pictures. I’d highly recommend her!

Shelley is pure magic with her camera. Her studio is welcoming and clean. She is professional and so talented! Her creativity shows in each picture she takes. Shelley is the best newborn photographer in the town, the photos she took for my daughter are so amazing! They came out exactly what I want. She is very gentle when handling my daughter to change clothes and poses, also there are so many options of cloths and props! I can’t wait for the cake smash session for my daughter.

Shelley did my son's engagement shoot. I was not only impressed with her photography, but with her professionalism throughout the whole process. The couple and I had a very hard time picking out our favorites. She certainly captured tender, loving moments that we all cherish. We had our newborn session and it was fantastic! Even with all the Covid mess happening, Shelley was able to meet our wants with a couple outfit changes! She even pre-planned the background for one we had previously discussed. Shes quick on her toes too though because we showed up with one more request and she was still able to get a great backdrop set up and honestly it's one of my favorites! She puts her head down and goes straight to work and even managed to capture a sibling shot with our wild 2yr old child---believe me that was no small thing! Love our photos and will be using her again for the 1yr cakesmash I'm sure ?
