Sammies is the place to go! I have been eating the same sub from subway for YEARS! I tried the same exact sub here and my tastebuds literally exploded in my mouth! On top of that they have so many different sub options and toppings that are out of this world! Service is always so great! We love Jess and the rest of the staff <3

Sammie's Sub Shop replaced a different restaurant earlier this year. The place looks nice inside. The food to me was OK, but for the portion sizes it seems way over priced. There are many options for food in Blairsville. We've eating Sammie's subs twice now, but I doubt we will go again.

Will NEVER walk into this pace EVER again. And I usually go here at least once a week. Here's a red flag for you to start Super Bowel Sunday NOT a sole in the place.
So I order a sub and like always I ask for extra onions like I always do and they NEVER put extra onions on.
So the person at the counter(who was very helpful) tells the girl extra onions and I say extra extras onions. She says your idea of extra onions and ours may not be the same and tells me I'll put on what the menu says WHAT
So I paid the $16.00 and left got outside and thought about it. Threw the sub in the trash went to Ingles and got a sub like I wanted.

I worked in a sub shops as a kid and NEVER heard of anything like this. You give the customer what they asked for within reason. If the onions are so dame expensive charge me an extra fifty cents or something. But don't tell me you'll put on what the menu says . How rude unprofessional and ridiculous. So keep your onions and your subs and will go to Ingles like before you opened . GOOD LUCK

Cute little sandwich shop! Friendly staff. And the food.... I had the Reuben and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had in my life! Potato salad was top notch too! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Blairsville!

I ordered the "Fat Tony" and the wife got the "Deviled Egg" sandwiched. Here is our take.

The Fat Tony consisted of great tasting meats, if you remove half the bread. If you dont, all you taste is bread....see photos. The meats and cheeses tasted really fresh, the bread was just to overwhelming taste such good meats and cheeses. The sub roll has a great snap of crispness to it...just if it was freshly baked minutes before I walked in.

The Deviled Egg sandwich tasted of nothing more than paprika...and it was an odd orange-ish color. It did seem fresh, just overpowered by the paprika.

The staff was great and friendly and the service was good for as busy as they were.

I do look forward to giving them another go, aftet they have been open a bit longer.

Didn’t realize when I walked in to pick up lunch for my family that I was going to get an education about what a pregnant woman should and shouldn’t do from the cashier. As a grown woman with a third baby on the way, I didn’t need to get told how their slicer could contain bacteria and how I shouldn’t be having any deli meat. Not only did I try to say it’s fine, and got pushback, but the implication that I shouldn’t be eating at a restaurant by their own staff is definitely enough for me to not come back. Hopefully this review is a reminder that maybe you shouldn’t comment on other people‘s bodies.

Excellent sandwich shop with lots of options and very helpful, friendly staff. We placed an online order for 5 people. They were just putting it in the bag when we arrived, and every item was perfect.

I am a tuff but fair critic , they make a very nice sandwich , with good , not great cold cuts . There are no sandwich shops anywhere so Sammies does stand out . The prices are very fair and the selection is nice . We have gotten food there 3 times and never been disappointed . I worked for over 30 years in the deli business and again not easy to please . We will go back again and cudos to the man who was working by himself on 11/16 he was the first worker I have seen hustle at work in years and he deserves props for that ! Lucky Dog Group .....give him a raise !
