This collection agency is in charge of collecting past due HOA dues. I’ve arranged a payment plan with this collection agency since July 2024. Made more than the specific amount required every month. Fast forward in November. I called November 19, 2024 about my balance not being updated and the balance not reflecting the payments made. The rep told me that she does not see a payment plan in place and my balance will incur interests since there isn’t a payment plan. When I told her multiple times there is a payment plan that I made with the company. Told this rep that I would be paying off my balance early by January 2025. She assured me that I would need a payment plan and they would have to approve it first in which I never ask for one cause there was one already made. Made an additional payment on thanksgiving night, called on November 29, 2024 and got a rep on the phone telling me that my new balance is 1022 and I told him my balance was 722 and I made a payment last night so it’s 422 now but not reflecting when I sign in. Only to be out on hold and the rep telling me my balance is actually $1500 due to assessments fees for a payment plan! So upset knowing I’m at work to hear this utter nonsense. The rep was not polite and actually said who handles my file will be back on Monday to call me pertaining this. Asking me over and over if I’m disputing the balance and I would need to talk to her after the holidays. Sickening to know with all collection agencies I have ever dealt with this is by far the worst and what makes matters worse is knowingly paying and this company is inflating the balance. I could understand if someone is not paying but I pay more than enough and they’re still finding ways to keep me paying them making it predatory! They went as far with the original payment plan to charge over $300 just to setup a payment plan that they never tell you! My balance would have been paid if this company wasn’t finding sneaky ways to get more fees added on.

The loan company that I had went out of business and I was transferred to this place. I’ve had my loan for 17 years and have never had a late payment and yet I now have to deal with these people. I called to find out how to pay them, since they don’t even have an app, and was treated like I was a criminal. If you are going to accept loans that are not delinquent then do better. I don’t need to hear the threats or have you text me a code so you can have my cell to harass me. After that call I just feel sad and really mad. Please transfer me to a different company.

I have told them to stop calling me and they are sending 2 to 3 very threatening letters out to me every 2or so weeks and they don’t respond to any kind of communication from me or my lawyer so there’s going to be a big problem with this the lawyer is going to be filling a lawsuit against them for harassment and violation of the law

Update this wasn’t the outcome that I was expecting but the court has made this decision and as of 10-24 i have been awarded in the $$ that was sued for + all the fees that were due to the lawyers so I will say this stand your ground and don’t let them try to force you into a thing…….

I had a really good experience with RTR everyone i spoke with was kind and very patient with me, since i called daily for updates on my foreclosure status. I asked a million questions and asked for emails constantly. After all I did owe the money and i knew it was a matter of time before it showed up!!! I want to thank everyone at RTR for always being professional helpful and patient. Thank you Delesha R ,Erica, Jill W, Lee A, Morgan C and Keven W for helping me save my home. I am truly grateful to you all.

This outfit is a joke. Their software is out of date. Payments made are not reflected on the website. None of the documentation is in order. This is a collections company that services a second mortgage and makes it hard to pay. I can't understate how bad their website and policies are. "Not all of our accounts are eligible to make payments online via our internal payment portal" Ridiculous. It's because if you fall behind they don't want you to pay. It's not in their benefit to make it easy to pay your bill. RTR punishes their "clients" and is the worst collections firm I've ever had to deal with because they are not functional. They and other scab firms like them should be litigated out of existence.

Unsolicited calls for someone no longer living csr was extremely unhelpful wouldn't even say why they are calling and stated they would continue to call to collect from a deceased person. Asked to send in death certificate but no reason given. Need a copy of a public document obtain it yourself. Prey on someone else losers.

This business is evasive. They are not able to explain how they get there inflated loan balances. Obviously by adding fees. Cant even show me a signed contract proving I owe the money. Cant even access my account to prove i've been making payments. Looks like I need to start filing complaints with state officials.

I received a letter with payment options for my student loans and ended going with the option to pay 1 lump sum to get it all cleared away back in March 2022. However, according to the actual loan info on my student aid account, there is not a single payment on anything and everything is still showing as being owed with no record of any payments ever. I only even noticed it when I checked the account after the student debt relief application that is still awaiting the court resolutions.
