I do not recommend this firm and suggest interested potential clients look elsewhere for services. Point Square does not put the client first. My partner and I did not make it to the consultation, but the events up to that point made it clear that working with Anthony Malik is not advisable for the below reasons.

-My future husband and I made an appointment with Anthony Malik via his assistant for 2/8/21. On 2/3/21, she returned our request with an email confirmation for this call. We were required to pay an upfront $300 consultation fee to secure the appointment.

-On 2/8/21, we made the error of missing the meeting, which was our responsibility. However, we rely on our calendar to indicate appointments and did not receive an official calendar invite from Point Square.

-I reached out to Anthony’s assistant to reschedule and she sent the attached email, not only informing us that Point Square refuses to reschedule clients’ consultations, but recommending we wait a month to email Anthony to “apologize and request a new appointment.”

-I reached out to Anthony regarding this matter and he took no accountability, but simply focused his reply on his assistant, who we made it clear we did not blame. Anthony did not offer a refund.

-*Anthony’s assistant was kind, and we do not blame her for what happened, as she was following Anthony’s instructions.

1. While it was our mistake to miss the meeting, it is standard procedure to send a calendar invitation to clients. For an assistant to arrange a meeting without making arrangements for the client beyond the basic date/time is unheard of in the world of modern digital business.

2. To show zero kindness or basic respect for a client in the event of a small error, clearly valuing your time over the clients’, is incredibly unprofessional.

3. For an assistant to consider it acceptable to question a client’s level of seriousness and then advise them to wait a month to reach out and apologize is beyond any level of disrespect I have ever encountered.

4. It is poor practice bordering on the line of blatant dishonesty to accept $300 worth of upfront payment from a client without delivering services – forget the fact that Point Square provided zero clear terms and conditions in the “confirmation email” regarding missed appointments.

My future husband and I are doing a large amount of international business; thus I assume most consultants would be interested in earning our account. We are disappointed by how we were treated by Point Square.
