Ruben provided exceptional service during my recent grocery shopping experience. He was incredibly efficient, swiftly ringing up my items and expertly bagging them. Beyond that, he went above and beyond by taking the initiative to load my groceries into my cart, demonstrating a genuine care for customer convenience. Ruben's friendly and polite demeanor made the entire interaction a pleasure. His willingness to go the extra mile is truly commendable, and I believe he deserves recognition for his outstanding work ethic. I’ve been going to new morning since I was a kid. Lots of changes there and I’m not sure I love them all. I hope they get their fresh juices and menu back! Check the expiration dates too! Not sure if things are just not selling or they don’t have the staff to take them down. Sadly I ate something that I didn’t realize was expired and got sick.

This organic market is one of the best you'll find in this part of CT. The wide selection of food, vitamins and minerals is excellent. The customer service is superb and their prices are unbeatable! I highly recommend you shop at this market ?

We recently encountered an issue with a grocery purchase. While our initial interaction with a store employee was unhelpful and dismissive, our experience was completely redeemed by our subsequent interaction with a manager named Julie.

Julie demonstrated exceptional customer service by being understanding, helpful, and genuinely caring. We were impressed by her dedication to both customer satisfaction and maintaining the store's positive reputation.

First time visiting the store & while I enjoyed perusing the products because it reminds me of my fav supermarket Sprout, what I didn’t enjoy was the slightly racial profiling when I was simply checking the items. Overall the staff was very helpful and cordial. The other lady wasn’t so nice and even side eyed me, profiling ?! Unnecessary but I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt because maybe she had a bad day. That’s my deduction for the 1 star and maybe that’s one of the reason I won’t come back and order my organic items elsewhere. Thanks anyway.

I love their roasted chicken in deli and also in the meat department. I won’t buy any other chicken from anywhere else. But their produce is so disappointing. It used to be so much better for the varieties of Japanese vegetables as well as local vegetables. Lately, every time I go there, which became less as their produce is old, yellowing, wilted, but expensive.
I appreciate your response and couldn’t figure how to reply to your question.
Many green vegetables such as parsley, cilantro, broccoli rabe, cabbage, etc are drying, wilted, and yellowing. Bags of Romaine lettuce are turning brown. They need to have them pulled and restocked. If veggies and fruits are losing their prime, why not put them on sale so people might buy them? You used to have variety of Japanese mushrooms in bags. I miss those mushrooms. I now have to go to white plains to buy them.

I am still friends with the original people who started New Morning in the early 1970s. John and Jane, the owners for many years now, have done a fabulous job of making New Morning into the beautiful store it is today! Great food, service and reasonable prices for organic, healthy food. Just moved back to town and will be shopping there often! So glad they are still a thriving business! Great job, John and Jane!
