I should be sitting in jail right now but instead I’m leaving this review because Attorney Walter Lutes got me out of it with a small fine. I watched him talk to the prosecutors and he has excellent relationship with them which is very important when it comes to winning your case! Don’t waste your time with anyone else and definitely don’t trust the legal system Trust Walter Lutes with your case in Cherokee County!

Walter is hands down the best!! He started working on my case IMMEDIATELY and I could not have asked for a better that outcome than he got me!! He had my case covered within ONE day; prosecutors, solicitors, my probation officer and saved me from any jail time and further repercussions from a violation of probation. Walter is an amazing attorney!! He represented our family on two cases recently!! He was knowledgeable and very swift to act on our case! He worked closely with us to get the best defense in her case. He had to defend this case at all costs by presenting material to the prosecution in a timely fashion and getting the outcome we desired. He was able to recall her revocation case and do what was right and in her best interests!! He was able to achieve this in one day’s time! That was no easy feat!!
I would highly recommend him as an attorney that will stand by you and be successful at reaching your best outcome!! He listens to your concerns and addresses them in the best manner and gives the best advice on how to tackle the problem and come out the other end successfully!! Walter Lutes has represented me twice now and I have had a very positive outcome both times. The most recent was a violation of probation that could have gone a very different way. I’m glad I called Walter to save me from going to jail because my wife would have killed me if that were to happen. “Not really but you know what I mean”. Walter seems to know a lot of the right people and has a way of getting good results. A good friend of mine referred Walter to me and I couldn’t be more pleased. The first time I met Walter, he got me out of a huge speeding ticket that saved me a lot of money. I hope that I don’t ever need another lawyer, but I know he is the one I will call.

I called Walter from a couple recommendations from close personal friends. He didn’t hesitate to jump on it. He gave me a date he was shooting for a dismissal on, and nailed it! That week!!!! He spoke to the prosecutor and probation officers IN PERSON!!
He was always available and returned calls that day, if not in court, the next day for sure.

Walter is the man! I had a Violation of Probation warrant out of Cherokee County due to a new charge I had been arrested for out of Fulton County. I called multiple attorneys and was told that even though I was nearly 100% certain that the new charge out of Fulton was going to be dismissed that it was highly unlikely that probation would dismiss their warrant even if the new charge was dismissed, that they would still want me to turn myself in on their warrant. Most of the attorneys said they would reach out to probation if I retained them, but they didn't expect to have much luck. Walter was different! He didn't casually pick up the phone to call them or shoot an email. He showed up in person to talk to them. When probation refused to dismiss the warrant, he didn't stop there. He went and spoke to the prosecutor in person as well! All other attorneys advised me that they wouldn't be able to speak to the prosecutor about my case until AFTER I had turned myself in. Literally while speaking with the prosecutor, my Fulton case was dismissed. I emailed Walter the dismissal order and he showed it to the prosecutor. She agreed right then to contact probation and have them dismiss the VOP warrant. Walter is a true fighter! He aggressively goes to bat for you and doesn't take the first NO and tuck his tail and tell you he can't get you a better result. He continues negotiating with the prosecution and presenting a good argument on your behalf until the desired result is achieved. In addition, he constantly stays in communication with you and your family every step of the way, even late into the evenings. If you have a case in Cherokee County, do NOT use anyone else but Walter!
