We have been going to Joe's office for years. He is thorough. I have asked many questions and he has answered them thoroughly. His office is very professional. If there are any questions as to what is needed due to constant changing tax laws then he will inform me as to what is needed to complete the return (this has happened a couple times). We are very happy with the service provided by Joe and his staff.

After 32 years of being a loyal customer and contemplating just last year to find another tax preparer, I am no longer a client. My only regret is that I did not leave sooner. To say that I was disrespected is an understatement. I met Joe in 1991 when he had a very small office space in Hamden. He was building his business and seemed to value me as a customer. I referred many colleagues, friends and family to him. He moved his office to branford this year and I traveled there on yesterday to sign off on my tax return. He spent roughly 10 minutes with me before hurrying me out of his office to take care of another customer. Not to mention he left my appointment to speak with them. He was rude and unprofessional. I emailed him later to address what had occurred in his suggestion was that I find a new tax preparer. I had already made that decision. But I was deeply disappointed in his response as a professional. Especially given the fact that I had been a loyal customer of 32 years. Lastly, he refused to upload my tax return electronically that he had just completed. I had never experienced that level of disrespect. His behavior was not justified. Despite this, i was able to find a CPA who is knowledgeable, kind and professional to take care of me.

I was very disappointed in the service I received recently. I called the establishment with a few questions in regards to my tax return. I had a few questions about things that might have been able to be claimed. After I requested to speak with him about my concerns, he advised me that he did not want to do my taxes anymore because I did not provide the information to him initially. He insulted me and told me that I was not organized. I didn’t advise him that based on the new tax laws I was unaware and unsure of some of the tax changes. I felt that the establishment was rude and unprofessional. I understand the tax season can be stressful. However there is a level of professionalism that should be standard in businesses . I certainly did not experience this. I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere.

I would not recommend trusting this company with any account and services. They made mistakes on my taxes and I received a letter from the state telling me. When I contacted the company with questions and concerns the owner said he made a mistake but would not allow me to ask any questions about my tax return and told me not to come back next year and hung up on me. I called back and said to him that I thought it was unprofessional to cut off a customer and hang up on them and then he said don't call back here again and hung up on me again. He was very condescending throughout the process. I just paid $600 to be treated badly and have mistakes on my tax return.

Joe is very knowledgeable, he is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. EA’s go thru a testing process with IRS to earn the EA designation.

Joe is very friendly, courteous and very prompt in completing your tax returns.

I have been using Joe for many years and I think he is the best of the best!

I instructed Joe to file my taxes and he mislead me and had me sign without reviewing them. Once reviewing them I see he did not file them correctly and refused to correct it as it benefits my ex whom also has his as a tax preparer.

I tried explaining my situation and asked if I can get help filing my taxes. And the person I spoke to cut me off and said and I quote “I won’t do it” because he was busy and to call the IRS and have them help me. Very unprofessional and not satisfied with my interaction with him.
