I recently moved out. The supervisor Jacqueline treated tenants like problems rather than people. Her staff Pia was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. She used a rude tone, disrespectful word choice, cutt me off, and spoke over me while I was talking. When I brought these issues up to Jaqueline she claimed her staff had done nothing wrong and blamed me for the conflict instead of further training her staff.

The entire complex has a terrible cockroach problem no matter how clean you are. It took over a month for me to receive the proper mailbox key for my mailbox. The mail area was always covered in junk mail and constantly broken into.

For over six months I asked for the screen door on my balcony to be replaced as there was no window in the kitchen/living area and I had no way to vent smoke out without bugs coming in. It was never fixed. I had to buy an expensive air purifier. Jaqueline told me there were other more important matters.

The pool flooded. The sprinklers in front of my stairs were broken resulting in me walking through several inches of flood water on my way to work day after day. And the entire complex is covered in dog poop in the grass and the sidewalks.

Unhoused people would wander in because the gate is constantly broken and back gate is left open every Tuesday. They would ride around on bikes and urinate in the trash area. There is no parking if you have a second car or a guest and the one place there is to park is surrounded by unhoused people and yes my car was broken into there and I saw a neighbors widow get smashed.

They will FLOSS you for utilities and the laundry room. They charge a water heating fee!!!! Which is a separate charge from the water. The cost for a laundry card is $20 just for the card, when a regular laundry mat costs $1 for that. Is $5 a load and several washers don’t spin resulting in soaked clothes and having to pay again just for another washer to spin out the water. And hope that one works.

Someone in the complex is mutilating cats and cutting their tails off. I witnessed this first hand. Kids throw rocks at neighbors windows, and break into the pool constantly. The freeway is deafening. A part of the parking lot was flooded all summer long so I can only imagine when it actually rains how you’ll even get out of the complex. Birds used it as a pond I even saw a hawk. There were black widows next to my parking spot. I reported it and nope never got taken care of.

I moved after 6 months because this was the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. A simple misunderstanding with the staff would turn into something very ugly as if they want to fight you. Like it’s high school. They are very young, unprofessional, and ill equipped. I moved here because I was desperate but maybe anything would have been better than that. I feel bad for those who are stuck there. It’s a nightmare. I thank God I’m gone. I’m sure they’ll take my security deposit too especially after seeing this. I’m just glad I’ll never have to go back.

Most unprofessional company I have dealt with. My application was denied due to insufficient income. Not a problem and completely understood. My issue is the $100 holding deposit has yet to be returned. I applied in July 2024. We are now in October 2024, and no deposit returned. I have called numerous times, only to be told that management has not responded to Iron Horse regarding this. I'm then given the number to management. I've called management numerous times and was never able to speak to anyone. I've left numerous messages and still no response. I'm beyond frustrated ?

This will possibly be the 3rd year living in these apartments and this is by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD WITH AN APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!
The ONLY reason why we would give this place a 2 STAR is because of the Property Manager HOLLY and the Maintenance man ELI otherwise it would be a negative if we could. They are the ONLY ones that have made this experience tolerable.
For 2 YEARS we complained about the excessive amount of MOLD growing in the bathroom, in which we were told they would have all of that redone BEFORE we moved in and it wasn’t. Previous management came 6 TIMES for the mold in the bathroom and the ONLY maintenance person that was thorough was ELI and he tried his best with the supplies he was given.
We were told we would be getting our windows redone because of the cracks and excessive amount of water, creating even more of a MOLD issue.
Our bathroom door has never closed nor has anything been done despite other maintenance employees saying they would get right to it.
MANY tenants have complained about ROACHES, thank goodness we have personally only ran across dead ones, but still in the apartment.
The POOL, which they are charging you for amenities, RARELY stays open and was closed down LAST YEAR by the city and no one would give any of the tenants information on what was happening, but one things for sure, THEYLL CHARGE YOU FOR IT!
I can’t even list EVERYTHING…

Within a DAY of talking to HOLLY, she got our entire bathtub REDONE and from what I gather she had to work with multiple properties, SHE IS A ROCKSTAR AND WE NEED SOMEONE LIKE HER AS A PROPERTY MANAGER AT IRON HORSE. She clearly cares about her tenants, not just how much she can gouge out of our pockets.
As for ELI, he tried his best with the tools that were given and we really appreciate it. We have a child and having MOLD in your home is an absolute HAZARD, which we made that really clear to previous management and we were given barely a band aid to fix it.

We cannot emphasize more that the ONLY reason we are considering renewing for another year (if that) is because HOLLY made a part of our home livable .
To be excited about taking a bath in your own home is absolutely asinine.

So thank you thank you thank you HOLLY and ELI!!! 5 STAR TO BOTH OF THEM!!

Holli is so amazing!! I had an issue when I first moved to this property and I would never get a response from anyone in the office or the main office but Holli stepped in and was very attentive to my complaints!! She made sure that everything was satisfactory for me moving forward. She went out of her way to help me and she was so very sweet patient. She took care of all of my needs!! I give her 5 stars, if I can give her more I would!!! 10/10 she’s great!!

*UPDATE: I have currently moved out of these apartment complexes and they tried to get me for my security deposit. It took me 2 months and making statements of taking it to small claims court in order for them to fix what they took out of my security deposit that they were not supposed to charge. And even after thoroughly cleaning the apartment I was still charged a cleaning fee. They don't do proper move in and move out inspections. So make sure you document everything just in case and keep all emails, pictures, ect because one of the staff which I believe her name is Abigail stopped responding to emails that I had to deal with corporate instead.*

As far as the apartment goes, it's nice but I don't have the full upgrades like other apartments. Such as, no built in microwave and no wood floors. The BIGGEST PROBLEM is the roaches. They still show up out of nowhere no matter how clean you and your place is or no matter how much you bomb or no matter how much they come and spray. The walls are super thin so you hear everyone and everything outside and from others apartments. The doors are so close to each other. Wall unit a/c and wall unit heater needs to be updated to central a/c & heating. These are way too old and only cools or heats the living room area and kitchen. Rent is getting ridiculously high. Recently they took down our closest trash bins so now I have to walk far to the other ones. And lastly parking is hell! Only one way in and one way out. Parking lot is weirdly built where the parking in my area is small and built to park like at an certain slanted angle. And only 1 handicap parking spot that's only near the mailbox area.

Okay so from my own experience, I love Fran and Anastasia they are polite and very helpful I had no issues with them or my apartment besides it being extremely small with 2 kids, but hey I’m really not complaining because it’s better than living in a shelter!!! I seen 1 roach here when I first moved in (I killed that thang QUICKLY) other than that I haven’t seen anymore in my place!! As far as staying in the hood… you hear your regular gun shots and people fighting and arguing… WHICH IS NORMAL WHILE LIVING IN THE HOOD!!! So for me I just keep to myself and stay humble and respectful when seen and stay out the way!!!?

DO NOT LIVE HERE. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
(The ladies at the office may be nice in the beginning, and they will show that they care, but they don't. It's all lies and they're a waste of your time.)

I was suppose to move in on 08/13, roughly two weeks before school started, enough time for me to settle-in, but I received an email the night before the move-in-date stating, "Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have to move your move-in date to 8/20 at 1PM (two days before school started). Due to vendor delays it won't be ready in time. We were supposed to have everything delivered last week." 08/20 came, and just two hours before arrival, I received another email saying that the apartment would not be ready in time because the cleaners haven't cleaned the apartment, so they had pushed my move-in time from 1PM that day to 3PM, they also mentioned they would give me a call when the apartment would be ready. I arrived at the apartment 12:30PM, and waited in the guest parking lot until 3PM —still no call, still no email— so I decided to walk into their office to see what the hold up was, only to find out that it was ready since 2PM.

When I walked into the studio unit, there were rat droppings everywhere, toe nails all over the floor, huge flies flying around, the air vents were filthy, the walls had food stains, the bathroom sink was leaking, both the bathroom and kitchen drawers/cabinets were missing screws and didn't close properly, and they were severely warped and damaged by the water; they just painted over the damaged areas instead of replacing it, when you close the front door there was about an inch gap and you can see directly outside, and the wood flooring was dark and dirty. We were told that everything was replaced, which is why they had to extend my move-in-date, but the microwave and the refrigerator were still the same ones from the previous renters, they were not working at all; the microwave was a yellow/brownish color, it was sticky and smelled awful, and the refrigerator had a huge dent on the front door. We called the office sharing our complains, but they were in denial, and even told me they wouldn't be able to replace everything until the following week. It's funny because they said they visited the unit before I arrived, and it was "clean". I don't know what their definition of clean is, but that was the most revolting and horrid place I've ever been in.

Trust me, this is not a place you want to settle at!!
There are far better apartments out there.
