I highly recommend this company. Very excellent job replacing my metal roof on my wood shed. I was concerned because this was a small job and worried I would have difficulty finding someone who would do this for me. Alan got this fixed for me within a week of calling him. We have a 10 year old metal roof which started to come loose and leak. Harkins responded quickly with new larger screws and larger ridge cap. Looks great and solved our concerns. He is very reasonable and now have them in my contacts. Thanks Alan.

I had them replace the screws and gaskets, and do a couple of minor repairs on my roof. Alan got out to my house promptly to give me a quote, and they did the job quickly and efficiently. If I ever have any roofing issues in the future, I'm definitely calling Alan Harkins.

I had roof damage from high winds. Mr. Harkins responded promptly, was very knowledgeable, and performed work the same day. Very reliable, completed repairs at a reasonable cost. Would use him again for future work.

Excellent with an A++
Harkins is so much more than roofing. He built the most amazing deck on our house. It will never fall down, it's sturdy. Put down my new LVP floor through out the house.
So, yes much more than roofing.
I would recommend Harkins for any remodeling, roofing, and building.

Installed metal roof and repaired damage on out building and chimney siding repair. All work was done with excellent quality and super fast and additionally, Alan did other small tasks for us. We are hoping to engage him for several additional jobs in the future. However he is busy because he is VERY good!!!!
Feb 2021- 2nd post for additional work completed by Alan. There are not enough superlatives to describe Alan Harkins, personally and professionally. As a person, Alan is kind, honest, respectful—the kind of person you would not mind being in your home, the kind you would trust with a key. Professionally, Alan is knowledgeable, resourceful, creative, industrious and dependable. His intention is to see that you get what you want and he will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied.
Alan restored our outbuilding, repairing the siding and installed a new metal roof. Mr Harkins has finished our basement with bead board paneling to include 2 beautiful built-ins and a walk in closet containing logically designed shelving and he even sub-contracted to have custom designed doors built and installed in our new space. Currently, we have engaged Alan to design and build a new deck and walkway off our back patio.
Regarding clean-up; Alan will leave your house cleaner than he found it—this is rare indeed! No job is too small or too large for Alan Harkins. We could not be happier with him and his work!
