Great local beer and amazing ambiance! If you’re looking for a cool brewery in downtown Buford, this is it. 🍻

We visited recently and ordered two flights to try all of their beers. We liked everything we tried, especially the Blackthorne Brew (caramel macchiato stout). Highly recommend getting the homemade pimento cheese and pretzels too!

We also met the owners, Ryan and Chad. They were so welcoming and friendly, you can tell how much they care about their business. They have tons of events, we’ll definitely be back for trivia nights. And beer, of course! 🍻

We had an amazing time at Elixir Brewing Company! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we met one of the owners, Chad, who went out of his way to make us feel at very welcomed! Their beer selection is fantastic—there’s something for everyone, and you can tell they’re passionate about what they do.

The space is cozy yet lively, perfect for a casual night out or catching up with friends. The location is fantastic right in downtown Buford. We played multiple, fun new games that we actually went online and bought after we left. Chad came over and taught us how to play a new one as well!

We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves great beer and good vibes!

Great brewery, very quiet during the day when you want to go work on something. As the day goes on is definitely starts to get more lively. On the weekends I've been here when they have live music and it's a good time. Beers are always good, and the staff is always very nice. The brew master is typically behind the bar and happy to chat with beer nerds like myself. Highly recommend, and rumor is they are opening a seconds and larger location.

Very new brewery at the time of writing. Currently, four beers on tap; lager, WC IPA, stout, and sour. Tried all four as a flight for $15. The lager and IPA were solid with the standout being the stout. The sour was tasty as well. Staff is super friendly. There are various board games in the corner, and two bathrooms with a single toilet. No televisions and no bar seating, so it may be a bit tricky for solo visitors such as myself, but there are small two person tables as well. Plenty of street parking, but you may be a bit further away depending on how busy downtown is at the moment. The mojo of the place is good with a nice contrast between the earthy woodiness and the green mad scientist vibe. No water station but they do sell Liquid Death and have water bottles to grab in the fridge. Worth checking out and I hope this places goes far!

Updating my review upon a second visit; had a hazy IPA and a Pilsner, both new beers for me that were on tap that weren’t available the first time. Enjoyed them both. Brewery hit all the same notes as the first time. Glad I came back and added an extra star.

Our party of 10 (including small kids) celebrated my husband’s birthday at Elixir this past weekend. It’s a nice, clean space with lots of board game options. The beer was great and the staff were very friendly. Non - alcoholic drink options are available (seltzers, water, lemonade, etc). If you’re looking to grab something to eat, the pizza spot down the road delivers. We plan on going back soon!

Ryan, Chad and the team have created an absolutely awesome "Buford's first" with their brewery. Ambiance is great, kid friendly with lots of cool board games and of course the beer.....Their first 4 brews are all excellent! They said food tricks and cornhole will be coming soon as the outdoor area gets ramped up. Highly recommend as a spot to chill and have a few craft beers.

Wow. Elixir Brew Co. is fantastic! First of all, it's family friendly. In addition to the great beers, they've got soft drinks, juice boxes, and a wide variety of Liquid Death (sparkling waters and teas). Those guys are making great beer, especially the Macchiato Stout (oh my) and Drax’s Intergalactic Journey hazy IPA. On top of the beer, the space is absolutely off the chain. Super comfortable, relaxed, and a great meet up spot to catch up with friends over conversation. Our kids actually love Elixir because of the huge variety of board games that they love to play every time we go. Downtown Buford just got even better with Elixir in the mix.

You guys. This place is perfect. The owners/co-owners are so pleasant and knowledgeable. The environment is very chill and kid friendly. The beer gets better each time we come. I can't say enough good things about this place... check them out!
