Getting called for jury duty is never fun, but the process and the people at Clayton County Superior Court made it as pleasant as possible. The entire team who handles jury duty was very friendly, and the process was fast and efficient. I even met some nice people while I was there.

A heads-up for future jurors: security is tighter than the TSA, so don't wear steel-toed shoes if you don't want to have to take your shoes off, and be sure to leave your weapons (and tape measure) in the car.

Thank you to the entire team at Clayton County Superior Court for making the jury duty experience smooth and manageable. I appreciate your professionalism and friendly demeanor.

What is wrong with the ladies here. They argue with other departments over the smallest task, task simple as picking up a phone and dialing a number or verifying documents. It's honestly time for some of the these staff members to retire and hang it up, get some young gunners in there to handle task more efficiently. The tension is extremely overshadowing in these places, especially in the sheriff's office. Seen a clerk have a complete meltdown over having to verify someone's insurance so they didn't have to pay another tow fee. She was instructed to do so by her superior and had the nastiest attitude ever. Sheesh

The people who answer calls and sit at the front desk are so rude and uptight, I tried to call to get something worked out for jury duty since my mom is physically disabled and needs 24/7 care, they also summoned her as well. With that being said my job is being her caregiver. When I did so the lady who answered proceeded to tell me that “ It doesn’t matter you still have to show up and you’re calling and wasting my time” just to ask me when I got to the front desk with my mom “why didn’t you call in and tell someone?” Which I replied “I tried, my mom did also.” I know it was her because everyday until I got dismissed because of my job title, that same lady would avoid me when it was my turn to sign in, The whole ordeal had me gob-smacked only being 20 years old at that time, I didn’t know what to do especially since it was my first time going to jury duty, it was really sad they felt the need to be so rude rather than just stern. I’m now 21 and have been called back to jury duty and hope it doesn’t happen again because it’s really demeaning and stressful when you have to show up to a place full of mean and willingly/ intentionally ignorant people with even fewer nice/genuine ones.

These people are unorganized and extremely unprofessional. Jury duty is already an inconvenience, the staff should be better prepared and at least polite. The staff has attitudes and treats you as if you are less than when we did not choose to be there. They ask you to be there on time only to have you standing in line for 3 hrs for jury duty. This experience alone was beyond stressful and unnecessary.

Clayton County courts is the worse.. I'm a party in a civil lawsuit with my business partners and it's been a mess trying to get in touch with someone with the clerks office. My attorney as well as myself have been unable to get an update on a case that was filed 1 year ago.. I'm government worrier and this is absolutely outrageous...

Clayton County, court system and services are a joke. You can't ever get anyone on the phone. They're lying about long wait times, the phone rings about three times, and then hangs up on you. Why do I have to keep coming down to the courthouse just to find out what's the status of my case.

No one answers the phones, the website makes it very difficult to figure out court dates, incredibly dismissive. There must be a system in place to cause people to miss their date and create a failure to appear in order to keep their jails full. Absolutely HORRIBLE what our tax dollars are being used for!

The people who are doing check in downstairs are beyond petty and childish. Even the officer looked at them while on his phone and walked away after they called him over there.
