Corruption lives here! Worst school district! I know a lot of people who drive almost 50-100 miles because Bibb county can’t accommodate their children or teach them. Why would I pay a property tax for this? Why should we pay taxes on the education? This was before the new superintendent, but this is a shout out to all those raggedy teachers that think the world owes something and are still employed with Bibb County Public School. All the energy went to nothing so those the people that need to pay taxes. Don’t worry you want get a dime out of me.

There is no transparency with this administration. I am a parent here in Bibb County and with notification or explanation, the board of education made changes to school zoning. Unfortunately, those of us who were impacted are finding out when we are registering our children. I called the board of education to speak with the superintendent with several questions. I was transferred to a Kimberly Turner. She did not allow me to explain my concerns and fully ask my questions. She disconnected the line. As a parent and taxpayer, I know the importance of stability in our children’s educational foundation. I don’t understand why Kimberly Turner took the call for the superintendent first off, but at least she could have heard my concerns and questions and gave me answers. If she didn’t know the answers, she should have found out since she was acting as the person responsible for speaking on behalf of the superintendent. These are the types of things that impact how we vote. I went down to the board of education to file a complaint on Kimberly Turner. Surprisingly, When I walked in the door of this building, there was a security booth where I signed in and a lady assisting parents there in the lobby. I waited my turn and told the lady why I was there and she turned out to be Kimberly Turner. So I had to file a complaint on Kimberly Turner with Kimberly Turner.. The board of education system for each county in the state of Georgia has a responsibility of being professional and helpful to parents. The superintendent’s standards should be of higher quality, they are setting the example for the rest of Bibb County’s educational system and why are we being serviced in the downstairs lobby like we’re walking into a mess hall? They should be more welcoming to members of the public. Dr. Sims has got to be held responsible and accountable.

By far, this is the worst school district my children had ever attended (military family) . The entire Bibb County School District Officials all need to be thrown in the trash. With a high rank of failing schools isn't a surprise when the process for even getting a child in school is impossible. My son sat out for 2 weeks waiting for the Registration to be approved. (As I registered prior to school even starting). The schools office staff are all unprofessional, lack knowledge and organization. This is not even the half,the school transportation system.... Does it even exist? The office staff doesn't even have the knowledge. It took them 2 weeks to get my son is school and 1 week for the other one; I would think they will have everything together his first day, to include his bus route. Now it's another couple of weeks I'm pretty sure until I know. This county is failing its own community and children of it!

Most are unprofessional and never seemed to be able to resolve an concern or get back in touch with the parents when they say they would in which they should. Most of these people are in the wrong profession. I pray that 2025 will be better.

As a disabled military family and seniors, we are not happy with Bibb County for not exempting seniors from school tax. And they are about to vote on a significant increase. I encourage every property owner to call, email and show up at the meetings.

I always here and see bus 1418 using profanity , cursing when dropping off the kids, I've been watching this for over a year now and that's all I hear from her that is not a representation of the Board of Education. Could you please have her clean up her mouth in the evening time children and parents that are getting their kids off the bus do not need to hear this ,they don't need to hear this type of language.
Great job Board of Education the people in the communities thank you.
