BBB has helped me in the past, but my latest experience was horrible. The rep did not even realize the business i was attempting to resolve an issue with was unaccredited. She gave them extensions for no apparent reason. Called BBB agent multiple times when business did not respond to my complaint. Communication via phone was confusing without explanation. Ultimately, the most recent complaint was not resolved after 60 days. The BBB does not force resolution of course, but in this instance, it seemed my agent could care less about my efforts. The business responded one time with a 1 line response; and, the BBB agent said that the business made a good faith attempt to resolve a multi issue complaint.

I cannot recommend the staff at the Better Business Bureau of Central Georgia enough! We've had issues logging into our business account since a software change; Marie, Mary, and another woman who answered the phone (I forgot her name) have all been so wonderful and helpful in getting things fixed for us!

I had an ongoing dispute with a wireless phone company for several months. They would not cancel my service after numerous email requests (no phone number was available to call them) and no option to cancel online! BBB was successful in eventually contacting the business.They made it very easy to stay in communication with the progress and I was able to get some resolution from the cell company. They promised to cancel my account and issue my refund so I hope they honor their word! I could not have done this without the BBB service! Thank you for having this platform for all of the many unhappy people who get cheated and scammed everyday!

The BBB worked efficiently and effectively to address my issue with a Visa gift card. The company had dragged their feet on refunding my money. When Better Business Bureau stepped in it was resolved quickly. I received a Fedexed check from the company. The BBB communicates quickly and the on-line format makes it easy to file a complaint.

The BBB of Central Georgia was incredible! I was frustrated with dealing with a business that was not responding to emails or phone calls, waiting over a month longer than promised for a product, and then finally receiving the wrong product that I paid nearly $900 for. The business acknowledged the wrong and assured me they would ship asap, however another 2 months went by with nothing. I contacted BBB and within 3 weeks the company responded and sent me a product.
The process to submit a claim was simply and allowed uploads of documentation. The correspondence from BBB was quick, supportive, and understandable. They made the process they were going through to contact the seller transparent and kept me up to date. I am so relieved they got through and I finally felt heard.

I have used BBB 3-4 times over the past 6 years. Each and every time they have proven to me that they will follow through on your complaint. They try several times and will keep you informed on what has or has not happened. Business REACT responsibly because of their involvement. 3 or 4 complaints I have presented to them has worked in my favor. I recommend them to everyone who is having difficulty getting feedback from a business. BBC will get you the results and they have a greatly respected. I recommend them fully. Thanks BBC

As a 92 year old Korean War veteran, I was at my wit's end with a KIA auto dealer in Central Georgia for denying a Veteran's rebate on a new car I had purchased in December, 2021. After countless emails with several different personnel at the dealership, I finally gave up and decided to take legal action. In researching the various avenues I might take, I saw that I should first try to resolve the issue through the Better Business Bureau. That was the best decision I could have made.
I submitted my complaint about the dealership to the Central Georgia branch of the BBB and was immediately contacted and advised on how to proceed. Long story short, my complaint finally can to the attention of a senior level individual and he immediately resolved the issue by firing the manager who had handled my case, sending a check for the full amount of the rebate and sincerely apologizing to me for the way I was treated.
I can't thank the BBB enough for their assistance in this matter.

I have contacted the BBB twice now, once for a bad purchase of $3000 + with a NO RETURN policy, and a bad $200 gift card. I was able to return with a full refund, and received a new gift card. Without their help I would be frustrated all day. Being ripped off can make you an emotional mess. Thank you BBB you guys are amazing.
