Great atmospher. Atmosphere 10 stars, veiw of the river is breath taking. Sitting outside was a plasure on this chilly day it is well heated by over head heaters. Why a i star you may ask? The food was awful, we tryed all the pescreaterian dishes they were either over cooked or under cooked. The Egg plant was crunchy like a poatato chip the onion was tuff, smh. As well the food had no taste. Presentation was substandard. The mixed drinks did not let off even a hint of alcohol. We ordered shots of Don julio those tasted watered down. I wanted to give them a chance so i brought the foid home and fed it to two other people. The spat it out. Thats not to say meat options aren't good. Personally i will no be going back. The staff was great. The food quickly to my smily of excitement and anticipation to a frown of disappointment.

Went there for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. Need reservations for our party of 8 had a pre set menu plenty of food for everyone great weather looking out at the Connecticut River very peaceful. Will be going back again great staff very friendly and tentative.

Food was average,?‍♀️ At river restaurant

. The landscaping ; there was an old Christmas tree on deck patio in June.

Floors and bb plates were not very clean looking

View of river is okay, service at River was good.
Would I go again or recommend to friends

We love eating out and this was a disappointment .

River is a very pretty restaurant with a beautiful view of the CT River, excellent service & really really good food. I had the Campfire Waffle & 2 Grapefruit Rosemary Mimosas ? OMG!! DELICIOUS....and I'm still thinking about the Toasted Almond ice cream and chocolate drizzle served on top of that golden waffle! Ok everyone so this is a MUST go to spot this summer!!!!! Go for the ambience... go for the food or the friendly & attentive Hostesses & wait staff (I asked to change my seat 3 times and not once did any of them blow breathe or sigh in frustration) Sooooo JUST GO it's worth it!

Stay away from renting space in this building. You will regret it, you will never be important to them in any way. They treat small businesses like trash
