I had the good fortune of being introduced to Cesar Oropeza, the owner of this business. Cesar has been an amazing partner in the remodeling of our home. He is extremely knowledgeable, has great suggestions and his crew deliver a high quality of work. Across all areas of work, Cesar has brought the right expertise to plumbing, tiling, electrical etc. He has been a true partner - being flexible when we have changed ideas. His team delivers on time and enabled us to move in on time. His team also is punctual, hardworking, responsive and demonstrates good craftmanship - take a look at a bathroom that his team remodeled for us. Highly reliable, trustworthy and a true partner - I would highly recommend Cesar and iBuild Bay Area Constructions.

We worked with Cesar from ibuild construction for home remodel project.

Overall, we were not happy with the experience. As busy technology professionals we were expecting a white glove service for the price of the remodel project which went into the high $xxxK.

Quality of service was pretty low in terms of follow up on items repeated daily follow ups with delayed response rates, failure of project management coordination with my wife and our designer, final design details missing like cabinet installation, and layout issues in washer/dryer installation.

The final price bill for the service was very surprising for us as first time buyers. It's included a service fee of about 15% fee on top of material + labor. Amount aside the lack of transparency and legal threats on the explanation made the experience very painful.

Not to mention my wife was pregnant and numerous times in the journey she broke down with this remodel and wanted me to resolve issues with Cesar.

I think he is a high integrity hard working business owner but the price and service are not matching up.

These guys built a two-story addition on our house and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Cesar, is knowledgeable, organized, and hands-on. He was constantly at the job site, making sure every part was done correctly and that there were no delays. The project finished on-time and on-budget and we couldn't be happier with the results. He is an honest businessman and we did not have a single issue with billing over the course of the project. The subcontractors he uses are all great guys as well, very skilled and friendly.

We love the addition and would recommend Cesar and iBuild in a heartbeat!

We were very happy to find Cesar and iBuild Construction to replace a water damaged support beam above our garage door. We've talked w/ 2 other contractors and they were reluctant to take on the job in the timeline that we needed. Cesar came by the next day after we contacted him and was able to tell us exactly what needed to be done, both best and worst case scenarios and provided a formal quote by the next day. His teams were on-time each day that they were here and did a good general cleanup before they left for the day. In addition to replace the beam, they also helped find the root cause and fixed the slow leak that have been a constant problem for the last 20 yrs that other contractors that we used in the past couldn't find.
After all the constructions are done, they also power sprayed our driveway (all pavered) to clean out the fine dust and our driveway is looking the same (clean) as before 🙂

Overall, we're very please with the outcome of the work and the price is very fair and reasonable. The entire team is very professional, friendly and funny too -- we'll definitely call on iBuilder Construction again in the future. Thanks Cesar!!!

I would highly recommend iBuild. They did our backyard patio job and did an excellent job of demoing the old concrete and laying new tiles. The crew is very professional and the job was done on time. Cesar and his team did extensive remodeling work (e.g. complete new kitchen, hardwood floors, interior/exterior paint), new fixtures, landscaping and sod lawn, and more all in preparation for us selling our Los Altos Hills home. When the Covid-19 lockdowns hit in the middle of this effort, he was flexible and accomplished as much work as could be done practically and safely. He was also open to competitive bids (that I brought in) for some aspects of the work effort. He was also extremely reasonable in pricing change orders that were required once their work began. I would hire him again without hesitation and would highly recommend him to others.
