I’m honestly ashamed in the lack of professionalism that is left to run the largest magazine in our area. Kelli Hart is absolutely unprofessional , not only through the Ocala magazines site but through her own Facebook site on multiple occasions. Their contests are ran based upon favoritism not voting numbers, also. I’m ashamed that I used to love Ocala magazine and the raw honesty and care they provided for our community. No longer a fan after witnessing Kelli Hart rampage ultimately defaming the name of Ocala magazine’s kind past.

Night and day since the old management. Absolute pleasure to work with everyone. I came across them for consultation a few years ago, not a good experience and I would never have thought that I would come back here but I gave them a shot after hearing about the changes from a colleague. I never thought I would come back here but after learning about the new crew, Jessie and Adam are absolutely AWESOME!

The owner over promised and under delivered. She offered a base pay and i spend over 200$ a week so if you can live on less than 150 a week your all set. She offers commissions however you have to sell 8 full pages befor you see a dime, sounds easy but it is NOT extremely hard to sell due to magazine reputation in the community, and the high turnover and employees. A lot to combat in the work community. Publications looks great however distribution is very low Compared to competitors out there. I pray for their company I’m hope the best however as the previous business center I see this company going under very fast just my personal opinion .

Beware of Ocala Magazine. One of their editors, Kelli Hart, went on Facebook to publicly embarrass a local restaurant after her offer to cover them for free in an editorial was rejected. I am not affiliated with nor have I ever heard of "The Freezer" restaurant but feel that this sales tactic is not used by professional organizations and the public should be aware before buying from them.

My husband and I reached out to them via phone and email and left messages for their advertising for our business to give them business and they never returned any messages or called us back! Must not want business, So don’t look to them for anything like that because you won’t get it! Not even a return phone call!

The best of the best contest in this magazine is not a true vote of the people, my husband won best locals tattoo artist on the Facebook post, the contest ended and they deleted the post. Announced someone else the winner and when I went in to their office to talk to them about it they gave me the excuse “it wasn’t just on Facebook they tallied up votes from Instagram and email” when I asked to see some of this I was told no problem that they would get back to me because they were in a meeting.. well I went home found the original post on Facebook and Instagram, the post on Instagram told people to vote on Facebook, and nothing was mentioned in any post about the voting being all added together from both the post and supposed emails they received. When I messaged them about this the chief and editor of this magazine Kelli was extremely rude and unprofessional. She insisted I was just being a sore loser basically and that this is why they have protocol in place... But what is the protocol because they never mentioned about voting through other social media outlets or email in the original post. She claims several other people checked it to make sure they tallied it up right and they all got the same results. But I can say the same my husband and I kept track up until the day the post was deleted (yes I checked everyday!) and several clients keep track of the post too as they were recieving alerts. She also accused me of “rushing” her when I was never once being impatient. OM has been doing this a long time and this situation really makes me question the credibility of this magazine.

Kelli Hart is Very unprofessional and rude. Ocala magazine is unfair and don't follow rules. Will never again purchase or be involved with this business again.
