I recently retained a new member of the firm who had worked with me in the past while at another firm. Prior to retaining him I was assured he would was not going to retire and would handle my return. A short time after that agreement was reached he "retired". The named principal of this firm informed me that though my former CPA Tom was laid off due to Covid19 and reduced business at the firm, he, the named principal, was not taking on new clients and could not help me.

I view this as very unprofessional.

I have worked with this firm for over 18 years and they have taken amazing care of all of my CPA needs for my corporation and my personal taxes in a friendly and professional way. They are extremely responsive and always have the information and answers I need to take care of my tax and financial needs. I cannot say enough good things about Mike, Denise and the rest of the staff.
