We had been driving by every time we visit our house in Pinellas Park. My wife had mentioned she wanted all her old videos converted to digital. I stopped in and talked to Jim dropped off a box of videos within a few weeks. Jim knows his stuff! Last month he transferred quite a few reel to reels full of my dad's band. It was magical hearing the band's jam session and the fun they were having.
Then, I found a picture of my dad in a field during the Korean conflict/war holding an M1 rifle. There were numerous lines on the picture and a white line through his face. I honestly had no hopes for this picture. I picked it up and cried!!! It's beautiful!!
Trust Jim with anything you have.
I took pictures of the pictures from my phone. If quality is bad - it's my fault - not Jim's!!

UPDATE: I had 11 VHS home movies transferred to a thumb drive!!

I recently had a celebration of life service for a dear friend. JB effects was recommended to me by another business. Jim and Jessica could not have been more helpful and created a video that was exactly what I had imagined for the conclusion of the service. They also recommended someone to handle the technical part of the service. Jim then helped me set up the video so friends could access it. Worst experience ever! On January 18, 2023,I dropped off with the owner a small photo with an agreed price and agreed completion date. Weeks go bye. I called the owner this week, and he promised completion on February 9, 2023. That was 3 weeks. Today, on February 10, 2023, I go to pick up the photo. He has not started the small project. he blamed his new employee. He handed me back my original photo. This business cost me money by waiting 1 month and 2 long driving trips. Our conversations were cordial, professional and he completely understood my timeline and my end result. Jim is definitely hurting on customer service. I never observed his products because nothing was completed. Don't use his services because he can not keep his commitments.

Jim did a great job with my updated signage! 1) he made a little QR code to apply to my big sign, then 2) he made a simple but effective sign to go above my entranceway. Now, people know what I do AND can easily access my website with my QR code. Jim is the BEST!
