No hay camas individuales. La habitación es algo justa de tamaño, pero está bien. Ubicación buena.

Superb location, right in the middle of the esplanade. Parking is a premium all around Douglas, but we parked near the hotel with no problems. Rooms had everything we needed, but were compact. View out of the window was of the central courtyard, but didn't bother us. Rooms were clean and refreshed daily.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent and would recommend the kippers.
Had meal in brasserie and bar, both were enjoyable and reasonably priced. Bar has a pianist a couple of evenings and is a pleasant place to finish off the day.
Would use again.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay overall as we were there for the Isle of Man Walking Festival which was excellent and highly recommend it.||Unfortunately the same can't be said for our hotel experience. ||Our room 109 was not serviced satisfactorily as on more than one occasion our cups and glasses had not been cleaned and the tea and coffee hadn't been replenished. It was reported to reception the first time it happened and although the tea and coffee was replenished the cups and glasses were not cleaned even though they were left on the dressing table. Why when there are two people sharing a room in a 4 star ? hotel does the hotel insist on only one packet of biscuits. Small things I know but sometimes it's the small things that add up to big things.||We also ate at the Brasserie restaurant on the Wednesday and Thursday and whilst the meal on Wednesday was very good. One of the meals on Thursday was firstly not value for money in my opinion and secondly was overcooked and had to be sent back to be remade. Which meant that a meal my wife and I should have had together resulted in us dining separately. ||Breakfast was not the best it was more reminiscent of many three star hotels we have stayed in. There wasn't any cold meats and cheeses which I would have expected of a four star hotel and apart from Sunday and Monday there were no pastries only croissants and soup rolls (for breakfast, really)||There are no leisure facilities at the hotel even though the lift still has a sign to it. Chances are it probably did have them at some point in its life.||All in all we had a reasonably good stay and thoroughly enjoyed the island and what it had to offer. But in all honesty in our view the Empress is really that is a three star hotel masquerading as a four star hotel.||On a more positive note the hotel reception staff and bar staff were very good and helpful.||Would I stay there again? Probably not as it was overpriced and not value for money.

Three of us shared a room and the room and facilities were perfect b the hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The lobby bar had a piano bar and the musician was excellent. The location was perfect for us as we did not have a car and walked to both trains. |The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious!!

Great location on the promenade. Horse tram & bus stop right outside, and about a 15 minute walk to the city centre.

Single room is small but this is fine for one person, and the bed is large and comfortable. Only complaints are the lack of air conditioning and thin walls. TV noise from other rooms can be heard as well as creaking floorboards. There's live music on a Saturday night which can be clearly heard in rooms and doesn't finish until Midnight.

Breakfast was great with a good number of choices. Manx Kippers cooked well and staff friendly. Great value overall.

A pleasant place to stay, right on the Promenade, and within walking distance of many sights.

Liked · Hotel is at a good central location and on the beautiful Promenade with all its Victorian buildings. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Nice full breakfast, which I enjoyed. Staff was helpful but not always friendly.

Disliked · There's a lot of stairs leading up to the lobby so I had to have the taxi cab driver take my bags up the stairs for me, and later, back down. Later, I discovered that there's another way in, through the breakfast room downstairs, by which you can avoid the stairs and take the elevator. Someone should have said something about that! Dinner was ok but everything I ordered was way too salty. In the morning, one of the waitresses made a face when I asked for milk or cream with my Earl Grey tea, which is the classic way to drink it and the way I like it. She tried to convince me that I was drinking it the wrong way, which I thought was very peculiar. But overall, a pleasant visit and nice hotel.

The room with the sea view was large and very clean as was the hotel throughout. The staff were excellent. Breakfast could have done with a bit more variety i.e. ham and cheese. The real problem was there was only one lift for four floors.|Altogether it was a really good stay
