The service was perfect, the drinks were OK, the food was well COLD.. sent our food back after waiting an hour.. smh, and atmosphere was perfect. Honestly, you can't blame the server for bad cooks. However, the cooks can make or break having returning guest.

We were promptly seated. The server took our drink order - 1 water, 1 sweet tea and returned with 2 waters, and before we could request the sweet tea again, he was gone. Just as we were getting up to leave after waiting 10 minutes, he returned to take our orders.
The food was ready quickly and tasted great!
The Fried Green Tomatoes were good, and as a bonus, they were gluten-free.
The Housemade Black Bean Burger on a GF bun and fries was also good. The Fish of the Day Sandwich with mixed veggies was good, but the fish portion was quite small.
When the food was delivered, we asked for water refills, but none were provided. We then had to wait 5 minutes until we could get someone's attention to return to the table to request tartar sauce, mustard, and mayo before eating our entrees. We then asked for water refills again, which we did receive. There were 4 people working the front of the house, but no one seemed to have clearly defined roles, and at least one staff member seemed more concerned with chatting with colleagues than meeting customers' needs. We saw several parties come in and wait for extended periods of time before someone helped them.
All in all, the food was great, but the service has much to be desired.

This place totally rocks. From the moment we walked in and to the time we walked out. We were immediately greeted and seated promptly. We browsed through the menu for awhile there were so many mouthwatering meals that it was very difficult to decide. Though a decision was made, there were actually a few made. We got fried pickles and fried green tomatoes both were rather delectable. They were also gluten-free. In fact, we were told all the fried/breaded apps were. For the main course, I had the bistro filet with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The other meal was homemade pasta with chicken. Both meals were great. The asparagus wasn't the best I've had, but it was still dang good. That's really the only "negative" I have about the food. Moving on to the restaurant itself. It is smaller, so I could imagine wait times may get pretty lengthy. The overall appearance was cute and rustic farm design. The absolute biggest drawback about the restaurant were the house flies they were everywhere. Though they never did land on us, our table, or our food. If possible, don't sit next to the windows. As that's where they seem to congregate. One last 5 are so many gluten-free options as they also have gluten-free buns for burgers and sandwiches.

This was a wonderful place to eat for lunch - especially if you have dogs! The chicken caeser wrap and southern potato salad were delicious! They had bogo mimosas and even add Tito's vodka to their mimosas for an extra touch of "relaxation", lol. My waitress was an absolute doll as well despite me being a little high maintenance! Highly recommend. 🙂

We stopped here as we drove to the Stephen Forster state park. The food was excellent. My husband had Shepards Pie and gouda Mac n cheese. I had a cheeseburger, with bacon. I also ordered the Mac n cheese. Delicious! I had fries served with my burger, I world have liked them a bit more crispy, but they were well seasoned.

The parking is limited, and on a busy street. It was a a little busy, or maybe they were short staffed, we waited quite a while for: drink refills, our check, and for them to take our payment.

Overall, we were happy with our experience. They had a varied menu, and we would visit again.

Before & after photos attached. We came from Tallahassee after hearing rave reviews from our friends. Unfortunately we were less than impressed. The collards were crunchy and not seasoned, the goat cheese tasted spoiled, my burger was dry and unseasoned, and the fried pickles were soggy. The Mac & Cheese was decent and so was the fried chicken. However there was only one waitress and we only saw her twice, to bring drinks and then food delivery. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming

I enjoyed the place! It was very cute and I liked the outside seating option! The staff was very nice! I ordered the Rev up burger with collard greens. The greens were great, they were sweet and I liked that. The burger was good, it wasn’t cooked how I had asked but it was good anyways. I ordered it medium rare with an over easy egg and no onions. It was medium with over hard egg and onion. It worked out just fine!

The venison sliders and Monti burgers were excellent. We caught them in between lunch and dinner so service was a little off, but the overall experience was great.
