Madison was so professional and helped with selecting the perfect location and photo opportunity for my proposal. She turned around our digital photos quickly and did a beautiful job capturing the best day for us!

My fiance used UDS for our engagement photos this past August. This company captured this special moment for us and it was absolutely perfect. I want to note that my hair was particularly frizzy this day and I was a little concerned about how the photos were going to come out due to that. Each and every photo was flawless and you couldn't even tell my hair was a mess. Madison, the photographer made sure to capture everything even the small details like the set up and some candid photos that looked beautiful. I highly recommend using Unique Design Studios for any special event. Not only were the photos immaculate but the service was phenomenal. Truly have no complaints at all with this company. Trust me, UDS is the BEST company to go with when wanting to capture any special moment in your life.

I could not be happier with my experience. A friend recommended UDS to us for maternity/newborn. So far we've done the maternity with Martha. I'd been dealing with Mel over the phone for several weeks planning the logistics. Mel is absolutely the best. She listened to me endlessly and continued to brainstorm ideas with me until we were ready for the shoot. I met Martha and her husband the day of the shoot. Both were so kind and so fabulous. Incredibly fast workers. I was impressed with how fast we were able to accomplish everything I wanted. The entire online gallery was delivered to me literally 23 hrs after the shoot. I was shocked. The pix came out better than I could have imagined. The lighting was fabulous. The minute I met Martha she was immediately fixing my shirt and directing me. Exactly the kind of thing you want when paying for high quality shots. I was absolutely thrilled with the entire experience. I can't wait to return for the newborn shoot. Thank you UDS!!

I was ready to move on, but the response to my post compelled me to speak up.

I want to address the comments made in that response. I clearly communicated my vision to the photographers, but it felt like they didn’t care. The entire session felt rushed and impersonal. One of the benefits of choosing a small business is the expectation of a personalized experience. Instead, it felt like a conveyor belt—get in, take the photos, and get out. I wasn’t even given the opportunity to review the photos during the session to ensure they aligned with my vision. In the end, we only found a couple of photos we liked, and I had to pay $25 per digital copy on top of the $700 for the studio session alone.

As for the claim that I came ‘unprepared’—that’s simply not true and feels like a deflection. I took the time to do my makeup beautifully and blow-dried my hair the night before. I’m proud of the gown I wore, the undergarments I chose, and my overall appearance. The problem wasn’t with me, but with the lack of creativity and direction during the shoot, which didn’t capture the vision I was hoping for. It’s both disappointing and unacceptable to imply otherwise.

As a professional organization, there should be some attempt at empathy and understanding . Successful businesses thrive on ensuring customer satisfaction, but all I’ve received from you is apathy and gaslighting. I’m incredibly disappointed in your business practices. Clients come to you for some of the most special moments in their lives—weddings, engagements, maternity shoots—and they should never walk away feeling the way I do. There’s been no accountability, much less empathy, for my experience with your studio.

After reading other reviews—particularly the one from the woman who posted about her wedding photo disaster a year later—I realize I’m not the only one who has experienced this.

This is my 3rd time coming here. & it gets better and better. I did my first daughters newborn and 1 year shoot.. this is my second daughter. I will be back for her year and all family photos. They truly are the best. Not only with their sets... (they'll achieve anything you can imagine. Dont like what they set up? Theyll change it for you. ) But with the care of your babies! They also offer snacks, water and coffee for you. They get you your pictures right away digitally. Love you girls! Cant wait for their next shoot.

UDS was amazing for our wedding photography! Martha and Jesus were a joy to be around. Even before the wedding, I had a great conversation with Martha that really helped outline what the day would look like in terms of timing and photography that really helped calm my nerves. They made my husband and I so comfortable the day of the wedding and made taking photos fun. They gave us poses and prompts that felt natural. In addition to being incredible on the day of, we received our photos while on our honeymoon. It was so amazing to be able to see our photos so quickly. The photos were beautiful and captured the vision we had discussed prior to the wedding.

I had my first photoshoot at UDS for my daughters 1st Birthday. We did a boho theme smash cake shoot. It was perfect! I didn't know what to expect since this was her first time in a photoshoot and eating cake but it turned out amazing! My daughter loved it and we got so many great photos that it was so hard to choose the one we wanted to keep. The studio, the staff, everything was great! I would definitely book again.
