These guys are the best!! Been doing taxes with Charlie and his father for years!! More than fair with pricing and questions are answered accordingly.

Tax season is crazy but again they treat all their customers well and attentively.

Emails are answered pretty quickly but calling seems to get a quicker response. Love how I can talk to my accountant and we can both look at the books at the same time.

Whether for business or personal taxes you can’t go wrong with these guys they handle it all for me and my family and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I used Tax and Financial Services for a basic tax return (e.g. I have a dependent, filing jointly, I have a mortgage) because they are very well reviewed, and I was hoping for a refund higher than what I could achieve through a program like TurboTax. They charged approximately three times what TurboTax would have (which is to be expected, and I'm not upset about that), and I received almost exactly the refund that TurboTax estimated (again, not upset with them for this; that is entirely out of their control). So, even on a basic financial level, I cannot recommend them.

With that said, I strongly discourage anyone from using their services for the following reasons:

1. It took literally two months for them to process my tax return. I checked in every week and responded promptly anytime they asked for anything, yet it still took this amount of time.

2. They lack fundamental communication skills. I repeatedly asked via email for a status update, and twice was told to "check in next week" with no information provided as to why this week was not a good week to check in. Furthermore, the second time I received that response was the following week when I was told by them to check in.

2.A. The email etiquette was so poor that I genuinely was concerned that I had contacted the wrong people and had provided strangers my personally identifying information. A call confirmed that they had the info, so all's well that ends well, but a salutation, a signature, or even basic, not text-like, grammar would have been comforting.

2.B. On two separate occasions I called to check on the status of my tax return (a part from my emails; side note: if you think I was being overbearing, remember all of this occurred over the two full months it took them to process my tax return). On both occasions, I was updated then that there was absolutely something needed on my end to continue the process. This was baffling since I had received neither an email nor phone call either time.

In short, it was abundantly clear that my file had been left on the back burner at all times, and there was no attempt to contact me at any point even when something was needed from me. I essentially filed my own tax return through a lazy middle man who charged me 180 dollars for a stress fueled two months that could have been resolved in a span of two hours for a third of the price (literally a third) through TurboTax.

Iris was friendly and had us taken care of in a half hour. She was also able to answer questions adequately that my wife and I had. Would definitely recommend.
